In the period from May 13 to May 17, 2024, specialists from the regional libraries of the West Kazakhstan region., completed a training course at the Cataloguer School at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The students got acquainted with international and national cataloging documents, rules for compiling bibliographic records, the processes of creating and forming electronic catalogs and databases. Lectures and practical classes were held on working with modules from the Web-RABIS library and information system.

During the training, the students exchanged their work experience and took an active part in library events.

An introductory tour of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Centralized Library System of Almaty was organized for the students. At the end of the course, the students were awarded certificates.
