A book exhibition «Tugan dala zhyrshysy» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the poet, writer, translator, playwright Berkair Amanshin was organized in the O.Zhandosov reading room of the «Kazakhstan Kitaptary» Service.

Berkair Amanshin was born on November 11, 1924 in Batbakkul village of Karatobinsky district of West Kazakhstan region in the family of an employee. He graduated from the Kazakh Pedagogical Institute (1953).In 1942-1953 he was in the leadership of the party. In 1959, he became the responsible secretary of the West Kazakhstan regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan.

Since 1966 - Head of the poetry department of the magazine «Zhuldyz», in 1971-1973 - Deputy head of the Department of Arts of the Ministry of Culture of the Kazakh SSR, head of the Department of Literature and Art of the magazine «Madeniyet zhane turmys». Since 1974, he has been a literary consultant for the Writers' Union of Kazakhstan. He was awarded the medal «For Valiant labor in the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1945».

Berkair Amanshin is an outstanding Kazakh writer, poet and his legacy has become a significant contribution to the modern literature of Kazakhstan. A significant place in his work was occupied by the historical personality Makhambet Utemisov.

The purpose of the exhibition is to introduce and popularize the works of Berkair Amanshin, to draw readers' attention to the creative heritage of the writer, who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and drama.

The first section «Rukhani mura kaldyrgan kalamger» contains materials about the life and creative activity of B.Amanshin: encyclopedias, biographical reference books and literature about him.

The second part of the book exhibition «Erlik pen eldiktin oshpes rukhy» is devoted to the writer's books and memories of him, emphasizing his influence on the literary process of Kazakhstan. His works are imbued with deep philosophical reflections and reflect the rich culture and traditions of the Kazakh people. Among the most famous works: «Butaktagi bulbuldar» (1958), «Botakan» (1964), «Menin omirbayanim» (1965), «Kokzhar» (1971), «Ak zhurekter» (1974), «Zhaiyk zhel» (1978), «Isataydyn semseri» (1990), «Makhambettin tagdyry» (1991), «Zhyr-semser» (2004) and articles on the pages of periodicals.
