On November 8, 2019 there in the Hall after E.Tursynov of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the holiday activity named “Ushkynnan bastalgan Egemen Qazaqstan”, dedicated to the centenary of the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan”.

The activity with an introductory word was opened by director of National library of the RK Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kayirbekovna.

There at the solemn activity with the congratulatory word spoke the akim of Almaty city Bakytzhan Abdiruly Sagintaev. He noted that the main newspaper of the country always executed  the important role in the social-economic and public life of the republic.

The participants and the jubilees of the activity were also congratulated by chairman of the board of the JSC newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” Kydyrali Darkhan Kuandykovich.

The presentation of the five-volume edition “Zhuz zhyldyk zhylnama” published to the jubilee of the newspaper was carried out by B.A.Sagintaev, D.K.Kydyrali, B.B.Nurzhekeyev, N.M.Orazalin.

There at the activity spoke doctor of science (philology), professor Serik Kirabayev, the writer, veteran of the newspaper  “Egemen Qazaqstan” Sarbas Aktayev“, doctor of science (philology), scientist, the former worker of the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” Umirzak Aitbaiuly, the poet, dramaturgist, the state and public figure, the former head of  the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” Nurlan Orazalin, chairman of the Writers’ Union  Ulykbek Esdaulet, the chief editor of the public-political newspaper “Almaty akshamy”,  the former worker of the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” Kali Sarsenbai and others.

There within the framework of the celebration of the jubilee the veterans of  the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” were awarded different awards. There at the activity were performed the songs by art expert Erlan Toleutai, actor Zhanat Tynbaev and singer  Sayat Nurgazin.

National library of the RK organized the exhibition “Ushkynnan bastalgan  “Egemen Qazaqstan” dedicated to the centenary period of the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” which embodies the way covered by the main newspaper of the country.
