On October 23, within the framework of the Cataloguer school, operating on the basis of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held the practical online-seminar "School of Cataloguer - advanced training of library specialists on-line" with the participation of  254 librarians of the Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions.

On October 23, 2020, within the framework of the Cataloguer school, operating on the basis of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held the practical online-seminar "School of Cataloguer - advanced training of library specialists on-line" with the participation of  254 librarians of the Almaty, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions.

Specialists of the Information Resources Service delivered lectures by A.K. Nesipbaeva "Principles and rules of systematization according to UDC", M.E. Baratbekova "Development of the bibliographic index (actual bibliography" New literature about Kazakhstan") and  "Remote access to electronic resources (selection of information from social networks)".

During the seminar, the participants  proposed to conduct a master class  on compiling bibliographic aids and about the issues on the use of the Universal Decimal Classification (UDC) in the Kazakh language.
