On March 2 at 15:00 hours there at National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the hall after N. Dauletova took place the activity dedicated to the holiday of good and thanksgiving – the Thanksgiving Day, at which there were honored the medical workers, the drivers of ambulances and the workers of the police of the country for their dedicated work during the time of pandemia.

The activity was opened by the poet, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan, director of the Foundation “Tulga-Dostyk”, head of the club “Zhas Kalam” and the Centre “Adebiyet Alemi” of National library of Kazakhstan, moderator Muratkhan Shokan. Deputy director of National library of the RK Yussupova Azhar Khamitovna congratulated all the participants with the holiday and expressed the warm wishes.

Kuttykyz Kasymbekova, the head of the group “Kazakstan kitaptary” of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan thanked them and  noted the great work of the physicians, drivers of ambulances and the workers of the militia who fought for the human lives, sacrificing themselves and subjugating their interests in the name of salvation of the patients infected with the Covid.

There at the meeting the medical workers expressed their feelings connected with the great responsibility and risk for their own health, selfless service for the sake of salvation of the lives of the ill people from the good, humane reasons without awaiting any thanks or gratitude.

In the course of the activity there were performed the songs by the young librarians of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhangul Bakytova “Osylai bola ma”, Tanzharyk Ormanbekov “Kyumis kumgan ai”, the terme in the performance of Kurmet Karabayev.

Also the librarian of the scientific-methodological service Kanibai Ulnazik read his own verses.

In honour of the Thanksgiving Day the collective of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the personal contribution and merits in the salvation and treatment of patients the following medical workers were awarded with the letters opf gratitude and gifts: B. Isamatova, K. Sultankulova, K. Bakbergenova, A. Safiollayeva, M. Bolatova; also the driver of the ambulance S.Kushkeldiyev and the worker of the militia U.Abibullah.

There in the activity participated the workers of the library and representatives of the public.
