There in the reading hall after Oraz Zhandosov within the framework of activity of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city is organized the book exhibition “Tatulyk –birilik bastauy” dedicated to the Day of unity of the people of Kazakhstan and the International year of peace and trust.

Kazakhstan is a multinational state. The holiday of unity of the people of  Kazakhstan is the symbol of peace and agreement. The preservation of national and interreligious concordance is one of the main priorities of the state policy. 

The Day of unity of the people of Kazakhstan is the holiday of genuine patriotism, devotion to your country and real love of the land of your fathers, the strengthening of stability, peace and inter-ethnical agreement, and also the demonstration of achievements of the Kazakhstani model of intercultural dialogue. This is the holiday of friendship and understanding which are so necessary for the peaceful life in the country where there live more than 130 nationalities and peoples. Today Kazakhstan also possesses the effective economic model which makes it possible to purposefully and systematically carry out the political, economic and social reforms in the country.

On May 1 in each city of Kazakhstan there are held holiday activities for the strengthening of the whole people living in our country. There participate the ethnical cultural centres which represent the traditions and rites of different peoples. The theatrical activities, the holiday concerts, festivals, walkings and demonstrations – all of this makes this activity one of the brightest and loved holidays of all the Kazakhstanis.

The year 2021 is declared as the International year of peace and trust. The resolution was unanimously approved at the 106-th plenary session of the 73-rd session of the General Assembly by all the states – members of the United Nations Organization. “Peace is not just the lack of conflicts but it is a positive, dynamic process based upon the wide participation in which dialogue is approved”, - is noted in the approved Resolution, the purpose of which is the provision of the high level of security and stability in the region and in the whole world.    

The book exhibition “Tatulyk –birilik bastauy” presents the materials from the fond of National library of the RK, disclosing the history and modern life, development of culture, traditions and art of the ethnoses that reside on the territory of Kazakhstan and also the literature in the sphere of securing peace and safety, nuclear disarmament in the whole world.
