There in the reading hall of the Arts department is organized the thematical book exhibition “Tauyelsizdiktyn 30 zhaylyndagy Kazakstannyn madeniyeti men oneri”, dedicated to the Day of the workers of culture and art.

On May 21 the representatives of culture and art of Kazakhstan celebrate their professional holiday. The holiday was initiated in 2013 in accordance with the Decree of President – Elbasy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The establishment of the holiday of culture and art was aimed at the underlining of the important role which is played by the representatives of this sphere in the formation, development and storing of the cultural-historical values, patriotism , the general cultural development of the citizens.

There at the exhibition are presented the materials which reflect the bright achievements of the people of Kazakhstan in the sphere of culture and art during the period of Independence of Kazakhstan .

There are presented the books: “The leader of the nation and culture: collection of materials and documents”, “The new life of the ancient traditions”, “The Kazakh folk epos.

The history and traditions of the Kazakh people”, the book of S.Kenzheakhmetuly “Kazaktyn salt dastyuri men adet-guryptary”, of Laurence Lessing “Erkin madeniyet”, “The historical cultural heritage and modern culture”, “Kazakstannyn madeni oshaktary. Cultural centres of Kazakhstan”. There are also given the data about the folk crafts, national clothes: “Kazakstan kazirgi zaman onery”, “Art of Kazakhstan”, the book of S.Shklyayev and K.Muratayev “The history of art of Kazakhstan”, Kapalbekuly Nagashbek “Oner biyiginde”, “The 100 masterpieces of art of Kazakhstan. Painting. Sculpture. Graphics”, Sh.Zh.Tokhtabayev “The masterpieces of the Great Steppe”, “Decorative art of Kazakhstan”, “Dep[[ictive art of Kazakhstan. The XX-th century”, and also from the series of the ethnographical collections ”The traditional clothes of the Kazakhs: the scientific catalogue”, the book of V.Z.Galiyev “Kazakstan XIX gasyr syuretshilerynyn shygarmalarynda”, the monograph of A.Kh.Margulan, T.K.Beisenov, M.M.Mendigulov “Architecture of Kazakhstan” in 10 volumes, the book “Archeology of Kazakhstan” and others.

There at the exhibition is presented literature on musical art: “Kazakhstannyn tauyelsizdyk zhyldaryndagy muzyka onery”, the 8-volume “Kazak muzykasy”, the book “The idea “Mangilik el” in Kazakh music”, A.Nugman “Kazaktyn anshilik dastyuri”.

Also there are presented the books dedicated to the life and creative activity of the well-known composers such as – Sh.Kaldayakov, N.Tlendiyev, E.Rakhmadiyev, M.Tulebayev, the famous performers: R.Baglanova, K.Baiseyitova, E.Serkebayev, B.Tulegenova and others.

The number of books narrate about the creative activity of the modern Kazakhstani theatre art where there worked and still work such directors like A.Mambetov,Zh.Khadzhiyev, B.Atabayev, E.Obayev, the people’s artistes Kh.Bukeyeva, A.Ashimov, A.Umurzakova, T.Zhamankulov, F.Sharipova and many others
