On October 29 National library of the RK with the work visit was visited by the delegation of Pakistan: major-general Madjid Djakhangir, director for external military cooperation of the joint head-quarters of Pakistan; the military attaché, brigade general Yassir Nauaz, the attaché of defence of the Embassy of Pakistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan; colonel Farrukh Aslam, deputy director for external military cooperation of the United headquarters of Pakistan; colonel Shiraz Khadim, deputy director for issues of external military cooperation of the General headquarters of Pakistan; majour Naoman Nazir, the head-quarters officer for foreign military cooperation of the United headquarters of Pakistan; councilor for trade and investments of the Embassy of Pakistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Mukhammad Farukh.

There between the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and National library of the RK on March 27, 2007 was signed the Agreement about the opening of the Centre for studying Pakistan. At the beginning of 2021 the Book corner of Pakistan was modernized and equipped with new literature, modern furniture, equipment and the informational terminal by the money given by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. As a gift there to National library of the RK was given literature in different spheres of knowledge and science.

In the course of the visit there took place the constructive conversation with director of National library of the RK Ospanova BakytzhamaL Kayirbekovna, at which there were discussed the issues of further cooperation and activity of the corner. Also for the guests there was carried out the acquaintance excursion around the Halls of the library.
