On November 10 head of the Service of world literature of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bekturbekova Fatima Kuralbekovna participated in the international seminar “The memorial memory. The war and literature” in the format of the video-translation (on the Zoom platform). 

There in the seminar participated the leading specialists of the scientific establishments of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic.

In her speech Bekturbekova Fatima Kuralbekovna presented the slide-show about the activity of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the years of the Greta Patriotic war, about the projects of the library in the popularization of the theme of patriotism and military thematics. There was also narrated about the participation in the international projects, such as:

“The Great Victory of the Soviet people” – the project of the National libraries of the countries of the CIS and the Library Assembly of Eurasia; “The libraries – witnesses of the Victory” – the project of the All-Russian state library of foreign literature after M.I. Rudomino, prepared in partnership with the Russian state library, the Presidential library after B.N. Eltsin and the National libraries of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Armenia; the documentary film “The library front: 1941-1945” – the joint project of the Presidential library after B.N. Eltsin, the Department of affairs of the President of the Russian Federation and the Library Assembly of Eurasia.

Also there to the attention of the participants were presented the virtual exhibitions: “The 316-th shooters division of general I.V. Panfilov”, dedicated to the 80-th anniversary of the legendary Panfilov division; “Talgat Yakubekovich Begeldinov – twice Hero of the Soviet Union”, organized within the framework of the international project “The libraries – the witnesses of the Victory”; “The joy of the Victory on the pages of the military newspapers of 1945” the audio-translation of “The song of Victory” from the collection of gramophone records of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
