On November 19 there at National library of the RK took place the memory evening, dedicated to the 85-th birthday of the writer, translator, honored figure of Kazakhstan Sayin Muratbekov.

The moderator was the writer-publicist, winner of the prize “Tarlan-Umit”, honored figure of Kazakhstan Zhusupbek Korgasbek.

There spoke: Smagul Elubai, Maira Muratbekova, Nurdaulet Akysh, Zhumash Kenebai, Marlen Kolbayev, Saule Doszhan, Kuandyk Tyumenbai, Zhuldysbek Zhumabai.

Also there with the musical numbers performed the singers Zarina Shondybai and Akzhol Uzerbai.               

There within the framework of the activity from the fonds of National library of the RK was organized the book exhibition “Kiyeli kalam iyesy”, dedicated to the life and creative activity of Saiyn Muratberkov.

The participants: poets and writers, representatives of creative intelligentsia and mass-media.
