There in the reading hall after Oraz Zhandosov of the Service “Kazakstan kitaptary” is organized the book exhibition named “Kazak zhurnalistikanyn sardary” dedicated to the centenary of the birth of the founder of the school of Kazakhstani journalistic, scientist and public figure Tauman Salykpayevich Amandosov.
Tauman Salykpayevich Amandosov was born on December 5, 1921 in the village Kenozek of the Balykshinskiy district of the Atyrauskaya region. In 1950 with honors he graduated from the department of journalistics of the philological faculty of the Kazakh state university after S.M. Kirov. T. Amandosov began his labour activity in 1942 as a literary worker of the regional newspaper “Socialistic kurylys”. After that he was recommended for the pedagogical work at the Kazakh state university after S.M.Kirov. In 1955 he successfully defended the candidate dissertation by the theme “The idea of the friendship of the peoples in Kazakh Soviet literature”, in 1982 – the doctoral dissertation by the theme “The history of establishment and the problems of Kazakh publicistics”.
There in the fond of National library of the RK are approximately 200 materials about the life and activity of T. Amandosov, his scientific works, monographs, speeches at the scientific conferences, the artistic translations and publicistic articles on the pages of the periodical editions.
The book exhibition “Kazak zhurnalistikanyn sardary” reflects the materials about the life and activity of the scientist on the pages of the encyclopaedic reference editions. The purpose of the book exhibition is the popularization and acquaintance with the life and creative activity of T. Amandosov.
Amandosov is the founder of the theoretical school of Kazakhstani journalistics.
For the first time in Kazakhstan he started being preoccupied with the studying of the theory and practice of Kazakh publicistics. He is the author of the 11 monographs: “Publicistika – dauyir yuni”, “Dostyk agymy”, “Sovet zhurnalistikasynyn teoriyasymen praktikasy”, “Kazak sovet baspasynyn zhanrlary”, “Zhurnalist zhane omir”, “Gazet zhanrlary”. He wrote more than 200 scientific and publicistic articles.
