From April 4 to 8, specialists of the Restoration, Conservation and Binding Service of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan will take part online in the VI International Scientific and Practical Seminar "Document Restoration: Conservatism and Innovation - 2022", which is held by the Russian State Library.

On April 5, the specialist restorer of the Restoration, Conservation and Binding Service, M.D. Uskembayeva, presented the report on the topic: "Restoration and binding of books in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

The seminar is aimed at professional development of specialists whose professional duties include the preservation of documentary cultural heritage. Experts of the world restoration centers share the methods used in their practice, conduct classes and trainings, inform about new materials and equipment.
