On August 9, 2019, the National Library of Republic of Kazakhstan opened a book exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the writer and journalist Salamat Haidaruly.

Salamat Haidaruly was born on June 15, 1919 in Nurzhol country, Kurmangazi distict of Atyrau region. He graduated from the Pedagogical Colledge in Atyrau, the A.S. Pushkin Institute in the West Kazakhstan Region, also Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. He started his career as a teacher. 

 

In 1943-1949 he was authorized by the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan in Atyrau region. Worked as an editor of Kurmangazy district newspaper "Socialist Zhol" (1949-1952), correspondent of the West Kazakhstan regional newspaper "Batys Kazakhstan", a literary worker of the Atyrau regional newspaper, head of the department, As an instructor on the press of the regional party committee, the head of the editorial board in the publishing house "Kazakhstan", the correspondent of the Republican newspaper "Socialistik Kazakhstan" (now - "Egemen Kazakhstan") in Mangistau region.

In1952 Salamat Haidaruly was subjected to political repression.

Haidaruly is the author of – “Orleu Zholynda”, “Teniz Samaly”, “Kandy asu”, “Oi ushkyndary” and other books.
