On November 7, 2024, a musical evening dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prizes of Kazakhstan and the USSR, Hero of Socialist Labor Bibigul Akhmetovna Tulegenova was held in the Great Hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The purpose of the evening is to honor the hero of the day and popularize the creativity and pedagogical activities of Bibigul Tulegenova.

The moderators of the musical evening were Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, opera and pop singer, professor and student of B.A. Tulegenova – Tolkyn Kalievna Zabirova and Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov Dalel Zeyneshovich Uash.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union, holder of the Order of «Kurmet» Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna. 

Then B.A. Tulegenova's video address was broadcast, in which she thanked the staff of the National Library, the organizers of the evening, and addressed all the gathered guests with warm words, wishing them creative success, health and well-being.

The guests of honor and participants of the musical evening were: B.Tulegenova's younger sister Klara Akhmetovna and her granddaughter Lunara, her students Zh. Baspakova, D. Talaspekova, D. Uash, G. Zhidilova, etc.

«Arnau» is dedicated to Bibigul Akhmetovna, performed by 2nd year students of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov Sirgebai Yersultan and Zhumabai Nurzhan.

The concert featured excerpts from operas, folk songs from the repertoire of Bibigul Tulegenova. The aria «Rosina» from the opera by J. Rossini «The Barber of Seville» was performed by People's Artist of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, leading soloist of the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai Jamil Tulegenovna Baspakova; leading soloist of the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai, student Bibigul Tulegenova, Master of Arts Dana Talaspekova performed «Kazakh Waltz» Latifa Hamidi. Isaac Dunaevsky's «Zazdravnaya» was performed by D. Talaspekova's student, Kim Irina. E. Kanapyanov's song «Aitylmagan bir anim bar» was sung by Anel Zhambyl. Gulnar Shakhanova Zhidilova became the concertmaster for the performers. A guest from the Mangystau region, winner of many urban song contests and a superfinalist of the «Kazakhstan Dauys» megaproject, Shynar Bolat, performed the folk song «Kyz Karagai» and the song of E. Rakhmadiev «Anshi Bakyty».

The song «Mama» from the movie «Angel in a skullcap» was performed by the Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, professor of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov Dalel Zeyneshovich Uash and students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th courses of the Academy Amankeldi Zharkyn, Mashenov Tursyn, Zhanbyrbai Adilkhan, Koyshybek Ulan, Yerzhan Amanzhol, Yerzhas Tolekkan, concertmaster Dina Bisembayeva.

Dombra students of the P. I. Tchaikovsky Almaty College of Music Kybyrai Umit and Kunanbai Abylai performed the songs «Gaukhartas» and «Altynym». The soloist of the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai Zhuldyz Baizhum performed the aria «Gakku» from the opera by E. Brusilovsky «Kyz-Zhibek», as well as the legendary song «Waltz about Spring» from the movie «Our Dear Doctor» and much more.

The Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, B. K. Ospanova, awarded the guests with letters of thanks and gifts.

As part of the musical evening, a book exhibition «An-menin tagdyrim, kuatym, bakytym» was organized, revealing the life and creative path of Bibigul Tulegenova.

Participants and guests of the event: the creative team of soloists of the Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai; students and teachers of the Kazakh National Academy named after T.Zhurgenov; Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy; students of music colleges and schools, library readers, media representatives.
