On November 27, 2024, the opening of the book and exposition exhibition «Kazakh onerinin kara shanyragy», dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, took place. The exhibition is organized by the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in cooperation with the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory. There was also a presentation of the works of the faculty of the Conservatory.

The purpose of the exhibition is to acquaint readers with the history, achievements and modern development of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

The moderator of the evening was Gulmira Nalibai, a journalist of Radio «Shalkar», an «Excellent student of Culture».

The event was opened with a congratulatory speech by the Director of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Kazakhstan Library Union, holder of the Order of «Kurmet» Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kairbekovna.

The welcoming speech was delivered by Tasbergenovа Gauhar Koshkarbekovna, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), pianist, concertmaster, laureate of international competitions, rector of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.

Books and works of the faculty of the Conservatory were donated to the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In the lobby of the library there was an exposition from the Memorial House of Akhmet and Gaziza Zhubanov – dombra of A. Zhubanov, clothes, awards and photo stands, as well as a costume with awards by K. Kuzhamiyarov, provided by the Republican State Academic Uighur Musical Comedy Theater named after Kuddus Kuzhamiyarov.

The exhibition «Kazakh onerinin kara shanyragy» was held in the lobby of the National Library, where video and photo materials, works of rectors of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy were shown: E. Kruglykhin, A. Zhubanov, K. Kuzhamiyarov, E. Rakhmadiev, G. Zhubanova, D. Kaseinova, J. Aubakirova, A. Zhudebayev, G. Tasbergenova. The exhibition also featured books, periodicals, musical materials, computer disks and records stored in the collections of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Scientific Information Library of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy presented rare musical editions and manuscripts at the exhibition, as well as issues of the international magazine «Saryn», published by the conservatory.

The exhibition was presented by the staff of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Altynbek Kanat and Yertai Bilal.

Presentation of published works by the faculty of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy was held in the Hall named after N. Dauletova. The moderator of the presentation was the senior lecturer of the Department of Musicology and Composition, Master of Art History - Tulkubayeva Zhuldyz Zhakhanshaevna.

The event was attended by famous musicians, performers of Kazakhstan, heads, teachers and students of the conservatory, students of music colleges and schools, library readers, media representatives.
