On December 25, 2024, in the hall named after N. Dauletova of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a round table was held on the topic «Ulttyk adebiettanu men onertanu: tarikh tagylymy zhane zamanaui izenister», dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was moderated by K.S. Matyzhanov, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art.

Congratulatory letters from the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan and rectors of universities of the country were read out at the opening of the round table.

During the event, topical issues of modern literary and art criticism were discussed, and collections of scientific research and academic works of the M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art in the fields of literary, art, and folklore studies published in 2024 were presented. The following books were presented: «Akhmet Baytursynuly, Magzhan Zhumabayev shygarmalaryn akademiyalyk tolyk zhinagi», «Folklore of zhane kogamdyk sana», «XXI gasyr adebiettanuy: terminder sozdigi», «M.O.Auezov shygarmashylygyn madeniyetter dialogy ayasynda zertteu»,»Abai murasyndagy ulttyk zhane zhalpyadamzattyk: uakyt pen kenistiktegi rukhani transit» and others.

The event was attended by government and public figures, famous literary and art historians, university professors and doctoral students.
