On April 11, 2025 D.T. Dyusibayeva, Scientific Secretary of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Master of Library and Information Resources), and A.L. Krivkov, Librarian of the National Bibliography Service (Ph.D. in History), participated in the Kostanay Regional Webinar «Memory and Heritage: The Role of Libraries in Preserving Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War».

D.T. Dyusibayeva delivered a presentation titled «Correspondence of the A.S. Pushkin State Public Library of the Kazakh SSR with Former Readers – Soldiers of the Active Army.» A.L. Krivkov presented on «The Wartime Labor and Living Conditions of the National Library of Kazakhstan Staff During the Great Patriotic War.» 

The webinar was organized and hosted by the Kostanay Regional Universal Scientific Library named after L.N. Tolstoy. The event was moderated by S.S. Bezaubekova, Director of the Kostanay Library. 

Over the course of the two-hour webinar, presentations and discussions highlighted the role of libraries in preserving and promoting historical knowledge of the Great Patriotic War, shaping collective memory, and fostering patriotic education. Among the invited participants were colleagues from the Ryazan and Vladimir Regional Special Libraries for the Blind (Russia). 

The audience consisted of librarians from the Kostanay region.
