On April 11, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., the III International scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Hero of the Soviet Union and Army General Sagadat Nurmagambetov was held at the Sagadat Nurmagambetov Military Institute of the Land Forces on the topic: «Topical issues of the development of military science». A visiting book exhibition was organized from the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dedicated to the life and work of the military writer.

On April 1, the collection «Saken Seifullin and Folklore» about the outstanding Kazakh poet and writer Saken Seifullin, who made an invaluable contribution to the formation of Kazakh literature, was transferred to the fund of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
