On February 6, 2020 at 11.00 a.m. in the reading hall "Kazakstan kitapaty" of the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held a solemn opening of the Scientific Center of Al-Farabi on the occasion of the 1150th anniversary of the outstanding scientist and brilliant thinker Abu Nasr Al-Farabi.

There on February 4, 2020 there in the hall of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the presentation of the collection “Zhyr besigi - Tarbagatai”.
The activity was opened by the scientific secretary of National library of the RK, member of the Writers’ Union of Kazakhstan Zhunisbekov Bolat Zhunusbekovich and he gave the word to the moderator – journalist Zharkyn Salenuly.

On January 30, 2020 there in the “Abai” literary centre of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of culture and sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the open lecture of the winner of the State prize of the RK, academician OrazalySabden “The thoughts aloud about the implementation into life of the studies of Abai.”
