On October 19, 2021 at 11:00 hours there in the Hall after N. Dauletova of National library of the RK will take place the presentation of the book of the artiste of the Kazakh national orchestra after Kurmangazy, master in art study Aset Zhumabayev “The study manual for the bass-dombra”.

For the first time during the 85-th history of the instrument the bass-dombra is systematized and is published as a study manual.

There in the study manual about the history of the origin of the instrument is studied the system of the instrumental creative activity of the masters, the first founders, the first performers, which exists up to now.

In 1935 the academician Akhmet Zhubanov introduced the instrument of the bass-dombra into the Orchestra of folk instruments after Kurmangazy. The instrument belongs to the dombra group. Supplements the structure of the general work, including the main sounds of the harmony of the orchestra in the lower register.

The instrument is introduced into the study process from 1950 at the Kazakh national conservatoire after Kurmangazy as a separate speciality.

The purpose of the activity is the propagation, study of the history, transfer to the next generations. The determination of the task of the instrumental compounds of the dombra in the orchestra of folk instruments.

There in the activity will participate the professional art-study experts, conductors, performers upon the dombra and the teachers.
