On the 22nd of April the daughters of the National Library of Kazakhstan Azilkhan Nurshaihov presented selected works and books of the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, the winner of the State Prize named after Abay to the fund of the National Library of Kazakhstan within the framework of the World Book and Copyright Day "KITAP SHOY - 2022", which is traditionally celebrated on April 23.

In addition, the books of the famous writer and literary scholar Hasen Adibayev were presented by his granddaughter, Sholpan Timurovna. Also, for this event publishers "Arys" and "Bayan zhurek" organized a book fair for readers and presented about 30 of their books to the library fund. In addition, the Kazakh artist Anara Amirova, associate professor at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University's Department of International Relations, presented her own books to the library.
