On March 17, the presentation of the book "The Great Composer of the Turkic World Dina Nurpeisova", published in honor of the 160th anniversary of the outstanding kyusha Dina Nurpeisova, in Kazakh-Russian and Turkish-English languages, took place in the N. Dauletova Hall.
The international research project aimed at popularizing the outstanding kyusha at the global level was commissioned by the Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for the Organization of Cultural and Leisure Activities and Folk Art Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Atyrau region.
Under the leadership of Aigul Ulkenbayeva, an Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the project involved travel and material searches not only in Kazakhstan, but also in Uzbekistan and Russia, where interesting new facts about D. Nurpeisova's life were collected, systematized, and published for the first time.
The book includes an electronic flash drive with the songs of Kurmangazy, Dauletkerey, Mamen performed by D. Nurpeisova and her own songs, as well as to read the book presented QR-code.
In the framework of the event was organized by the exhibition "Kui anasy Dina" from the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was moderated by the candidate of art history, musicologist Bakhyt Turmagambetova.
