On December 12, 2019 in the hall named after N. Dauletova of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Department of Public Development of Almaty held a round table "Zheltoksan - tauelsizdiktin tiregi", organized by international public fund "Zhanashyr" under the project "Main value - patriotic spirit".

The event was opened by Bolat Zhunisbekuly Zhunisbekov, Scientific Secretary of the National Library of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan. The round table was moderated by the honored worker of Kazakhstan, actor Baigali Yesenaliev.

The event was attended by Zhanyl Amantaiyzy Apetova, president of the "Zhanashyr" International Fund, Sarsenbai Bekzhan Kaliuly, representative of the Almaty Department of Public Development, Dos Koshim, public figure, chairman of the "Alt Tagdyry" movement, Ph, Professor Anar Salkynbai, chief editor of "Ana Tili" newspaper Zhanarbek Ashimzhan, representative of bugin.kz portal Margulan Akan, as well as participants of the December 1986 events, who shared their memories.

As part of the round table, students of the Kazakh National Conservatory named after Kurmangazy Kemelkhanova Gulzhaiyana Yelibayeva Akmaral sang songs about the December events. Gulzhayna Kemelhanova and Akmaral Elibayeva sang songs about the December events, and members of the youth association "Zhas Kalam" Elbek Mutkurbanov and Azhar Shyryn read their poems. The exhibition "Zheltoksan Rukhi Oylmeydi" was organized from the collection of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
