In 2004-2007 there on the basis of the agreements with the embassies and diplomatic representations of Russia, India, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, China and  Korea (2020 y.) for the purposes of strengthening the friendly relations between the states at the National library of the RK

were organized the book corners of these countries. The book corners of the foreign countries at the National library of the RK assist for the development, strengthening of the cultural and scientific relations between the peoples. The readers are given information about the culture of different peoples through the literature in humanitarian sciences, unique reference editions in all branches of science, the splendid special albums about the countries, the collections of audio, video and DVD-recordings for studying the foreign languages, the exhibitions of the newly received books.

National library of the RK jointly with the international partners carries out great enlightenment and cultural activity: the thematical exhibitions of books, magazines and other editions; conferences, seminars, panels, meetings with figures of literature and culture of these countries.
