On April 15, 2021 the head of the Service “Kazakstan kitaptary” of National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zharknalova M.B. participated in the work of the All-Russian scientific-practical conference “The harmonization of the inter-ethnical relations and the development of the national cultures: the positive practices of the libraries” in the online format which took place in Ekaterinburg city (Russia).

The Sverdlovsk regional inter-national library with the support of the Ministry of culture of the Sverdlovsk region and jointly with the section of “The library servicing of multicultural population” of the Russian library association organized the All-Russian scientific-practical conference “The harmonization of the inter-ethnical relations and the development of the national cultures: the positive practices of the libraries”.

The purpose of the conference is the heightening of the efficacy of work of the libraries in the issues of poly-cultural servicing of the population, preservation and support of the cultural and lingual variety, the advancement of the ideas of tolerance, the profilactics of non-tolerance  and extremism.

There in the conference participated the heads and leading specialists of the libraries from Russi9a, Kazakhstan, Bashkortostan, the Chuvash and Udmurt republics, the republics of Mariy El and Buryatia.

There from National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the work of the online-conference participated the head of the Service “Kazakstan kitaptary” Zharknalova M.B. with the report “The support and advancement of the national literatures of the people of Kazakhstan”. There in the report is highlighted the activity of the Depositary of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan of Almaty city at the National library of the RK and the activities held, and also about the book corners of the foreign countries operating at National library of the RK. The report was accompanied by the demonstration of the slides about the work of the Depositary of the APK of Almaty city.
