- On November 24 there within the framework of the 30-th ann9iversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place the presentation of the book “The pearls of Atyrau” of the poet-translator, candidate of science (philology) Ershu Marzhan.
The purpose of the activity: to give tribute to the song “Marzhan kyz” in honour of the 70-th year of its coming into the world, written by the well-known composer Ablakhat Espayev and the poet Sadykbek Adambekov – in memory of the girl – the prototype of the song, the renowned horse-breeder, Hero of Soviet Labour Marzhan Enbayeva.
The moderator was the poet-translator, candidate of science (philology) Masrzhan Ershu.
The activity was opened by the worker of the Service of exhibitions and cultural programmes of National library of the RK Karabayev Kurmet Kabdilkhalykovich.
There at the activity spoke: Marzhan Galymzhanova, Zarya Zhumanova, Gulzhainar Suleimenova and the students of the Kazakh national university after Al-Farabi.
At the completion of the activity there sounded the song “Marzhan kyz”, the new books were donated to National library of the RK and to the participants of the presentation.
Participants: poets, writers, students, readers, specialists of the library.
