On February 16, within the framework of the year 2022, declared in Kazakhstan as the Year of Children and supporting of children and youth reading and in the format of the Literary club "Korkemsoz", the evening of poetry "Otan, senin alakanyn tym ystyk" with participation of young and beginning poets took place in the hall of the Literary Academy.
The aim of the event is to promote the formation and development of patriotism in the younger generation, instilling a love for the motherland through literature, motivating children and school students to read books, developing their abilities and interest in independent reading of works of children's and world literature.
The evening featured patriotic and lyrical poems by young and emergingpoets: Bakytgul Tursynbaeva, a 11th grade student of the Baiterek High school, and Lyazat Isabayeva, a librarian from theNauryzbai District Library in Almaty. The authors answered questions from young readers and shared their thoughts about reading and the role of books in theit lives.
There were also poems performed by schoolchildren of 5 and 8 classes of school gymnasium No. 53 of Almaty: Murat Karakat, Akanuly Alimhan, Berikkan Zhanbolat, Tomas Sanzhar, Abibulla Polatin, Mansur Makhanov and Erekeli Kausar.
The event was moderated by famous poet, Member of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan Muratkhsn Shokan.
The event was attended by creative young people, students and readers, as well as pupils of school-gymnasium №53 of Almaty.
