On October 15, 2019, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the RK hosted an award ceremony for librarians in the southern capital in honor of October 15 - Library Day in Almaty.

Within the framework of the event advisor of the deputy Akim of Almaty Daniyar Abzalidenovich Aliev granted the employees of the National Library of the RK letters of thanks of the Akim of Almaty. Among them the head of service of acceptance, the control and acquisition of Fund of the National library of RK Izambekova Kanshayim Musaevna, the head of department of theses and dissertations Bakhtygereeva Gulnar Mahmetovna, the head of sector on work with personnel of service of organizational-analytical work Bazarbaeva Saule Zhumashovna, the head of the National bibliography group Usenbaeva Sholpan Baytievna, the head of the scientific and methodical service group Shulenbaeva Aitolkyn Nursagatovna, the head of the publishing service group Tazhibaeva Gulkhan Shaldarovna, librarians of scientific and methodical service Baidarova Aizada Kydirbaevna and Aziretbergenova Elmira Jarylkasynovna. 

Also at the gala evening the head of the Department of Culture and Language Development Akimat of Bostandyk district Kuanyshev Bekzhan Orynbaevich presented the librarians with letters of appreciation of the Akim of Bostandyk district.
