On April 21 the head of the dissertations’ department Zh.A. Abenova participated in the work of the XI-th International scientific-practical conference “The electronic culture”, organized by the National library of Belarus in the online format, which took place at the site of the XXIX-th International specialized exhibition TIBO in the city of  Minsk.

There at the conference Zh.A. Abenova made the report “The formation of the electronic collections and the provision of preservation of the documentary heritage at the National library of the Republic of Kazakhstan”. There in the report are reflected the issues of digitization of the fond by different digital collections, the formation of the Kazakhstani national electronic library (the KazNEL) and the creation of the insurance electronic national library fond, and also the participation of the National library of the RK in the large international and state programmes.

There in the scientific-practical conference participated the heads and the specialists: of National library of Belarus, the National academy of sciences and the Republican scientific medical library of Belarus, and also of the Minsk state college of digital technologies etc.

The organizers of the forum thanked the National library of the RK for the participation and expressed the hope for further cooperation.
