IFLA: The librarians of Kazakhstan participate in the World library and informational congress in Athens.
There from August 24 to 30, 2019 in one of the centres of ancient civilization in Athens city will take place the World library and informational congress named “Libraries: dialogue for change”. This event has great significance for the world library associations. Annually there in it participate approximately 140 specialists of different levels in the sphere of library and informational sciences.

There in the reading hall “Kazakhstan kitaptary” is organized the book exhibition named “Karymdy kalamger, zerdeli galym”, dedicated to the 90-th birthday of the well-known scientist, literary expert, writer, honored figure of culture of Kazakhstan, the winner of the State prize of Kazakhstan Sheriazdan Rustemovich Eleukenov.

On August 22, 2019 there at the National library of the RK in the hall after N.Dauletova took place the ceremony of acquaintance with the book by Kari Zholdybike Nusipkyzy named “My father’s dream”.
The moderator at the activity was the honored worker of the RK, winner of “Daryn” prize, actor Esenaliyev Baigali Makulbekuly.

There in the reading hall “Kazakhstan kitaptary” is organized the book exhibition “Ata zanym - ardagym”, timed to the Constitution Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Constitution is the main law of the state, the especial normative-legal act, giving the highest juridical force. The Constitution determines the basics of the political, legal and economic system of the state.

There in the reading hall of “Kazakhstan kitaptary” is organize the book exhibition “Til – dostyktyn altyn kopyri”, dedicated to the Day of languages of the people of Kazakhstan.
There by the Decree of the Government of Kazakhstan on September 5, 2018 was introduced the National holiday - the Day of languages of the people of Kazakhstan. The holiday is annually marked on September 5, on the birthday of the founder of Kazakh philology, scientist-linguist Akhmet Baitursynov. Before the holiday was marked every third Sunday of September.

There in the reading hall of periodical editions is organized the exhibition dedicated to the 90-th birthday of the republican scientific-popular magazine “Densaulyk”.
The magazine “Densaulyk” is published each month in the Kazakh language and is dedicated to the issues of health care. In between 1929-1931 it was published under the title “Densaulyk zholy”.

There in the reading hall “Kazakhstan kitaptary” is organized the book exhibition “Uly khalyktyn – Uly Abaiy” dedicated to the great poet of the Kazakh people, the unsurpassable master of word, philosopher, the founder and the first classics of Kazakh literature Abai Kunanbayev.

On August 9, 2019, the National Library of Republic of Kazakhstan opened a book exhibition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the writer and journalist Salamat Haidaruly.
Salamat Haidaruly was born on June 15, 1919 in Nurzhol country, Kurmangazi distict of Atyrau region. He graduated from the Pedagogical Colledge in Atyrau, the A.S. Pushkin Institute in the West Kazakhstan Region, also Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. He started his career as a teacher.
