On August 9, 2019, the National Library of Republic of Kazakhstan opened a book exhibition dedicated to the 100^th anniversary of the writer and journalist Salamat Haidaruly.

Salamat Haidaruly was born on June 15, 1919 in Nurzhol country, Kurmangazi distict of Atyrau region. He graduated from the Pedagogical Colledge in Atyrau, the A.S. Pushkin Institute in the West Kazakhstan Region, also Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. He started his career as a teacher.

There in the reading hall “Kazakhstan kitaptary” is organized the book exhibition, dedicated to the 80-th anniversary  of the well-known Kazakhstani critic and literary expert Viktor Vladimirovich Badikov.

Viktor Vladimirovich Badikov was born on August 15, 1939 in Buzuluk city ofthe Orenburg region. He graduated from the philological faculty and the post-graduate course at the Kazakh state university after S.M.Kirov (now the KazNU after al-Farabi).

On July 24, 2019 there in the hall after N.Dauletova took place the presentation of the discussion club of the Kazakh language “MAMILE”.

The activity was opened by director of National library of the RK Ospanova Bakytzhamal Kayirbekovna who congratulated the director of the club “MAMILE” Kanat Galymuly with then 60-th jubilee and handed to him the letter of thanks and the memorable gift.

There in the reading hall of periodical editions is organized the exhibition dedicated to the centenary of the Zhambyl regional newspaper “Labour banner”.

“Labour banner” is the Kazakhstani Russian-lingual newspaper, the print organ of the Akimat of the Jambyl region. The newspaper was created in Aufust, 1919 as the organ of the Auliueata uyezd committee and the uyezd executive committee.

On July 20, 2019 there in the club of Ermek Tursynov took place the presentation of the books of the young Kazakh writer Meirzhan Zhylkybai «Batyr Koyan» («Brave hare») and «Tauga sayakhat» («Trip to the mountains»).

The moderator at the activity was the well-known journalist Esei Zhenisuly.

There in the reading hall of the Arts department is organized the book exhibition named “Kop undi kudiret” dedicated to the 80-th anniversary of the State choir capella after B.Baikadamov.

The honored collective of the republic, the winner of the All-Union competitions the Kazakh choir capella started its creative activity in 1935. In the beginning it was a small choir headed by the composer Dmitriy Dmitriyevich Matsutsin. In February, 1939 it was transformed into the choir capella.

On July 5, 2019 there in the reading hall of world literature department is organized the book exhibition “The great French writer – Francois Rable” dedicated to the 525-th birthday of the writer.

Francois Rabelais (1494-1553) is the well-known writer, scientist, philosopher, public figure. He was born in the precincts of Сhinon in Touraine. Rabelais’ s father  is a forensic official and worked as a lawyer. In 1511 Rabelais was given to the Franciscan abbey in Poitou where he studied theology, the Greek and Latin languages.

In 1530 he entered the medical faculty of the university in Montpellier where he soon received the degree of bachelor. Rabelais was studying the tractates of Hippocrates and read lectures in medicine. In 1532 he became chief doctor of the Lyon hospital in Pont-deu-Ron.
